Striking beauty

This exquisite, strikingly dramatic abode, situated in Simbithi Eco Estate, has breath-taking views of the golf course and greenbelt. The bold, contemporary interior was created by an award-winning local interior design team.

There is most certainly no lack of ‘wow’ factor at Von Villa. In fact, there are ‘wow factors’ almost everywhere you look. And rightly so. Designed by Olala Interiors managing director Debbie Steinhobel and Alan Barnard of Alan Barnard Architects, this home was destined for greatness.
With a fantastic location and homeowners who knew exactly what they wanted (this is the third home they have built on the North Coast), the home is the epitome of what design dreams are made of. “In our initial meeting with the client, the brief was to create a contemporary, minimalist home with just a touch of drama”, says Debbie. “The sublimely dramatic entrance of the home makes a perfect introduction to the rest of the home.”

The black and white guest bedroom is dramatic and glamorous, featuring geometric black and white patterned wallpaper and gold pendant lights

The master bedroom includes a comfy space to relax and watch TV with a drink after a long day

The open plan living area comprises the kitchen, dining room and living room and Debbie incorporated a variety, textures, fabrics and metallics in natural hues in the soft furnishings.

The luxurious main en-suite has a free-standing bath and a spa-like atmosphere
