While lockdown rules start to ease, a lot of people will still be avoiding public places and keeping to themselves at home … luckily, Exclusive Books has partnered with Uber Eats so that you can sink your teeth into a delectable menu of books without having to leave the comfort of your sweatpants.  Great books are, after all, just as essential as great meals and something people will really want at their fingertips in future…this is how it works:

  1. Simply order your book on the Uber Eats platform. You will find Exclusive Books as one of the vendors along with your favourite restaurants.
  2. Choose from the 120 books available which are sourced from the Exclusive Books Top Sellers and cover the absolute best books across adult fiction, local books, inspiration, business, cookery and children’s. As the app is used and readers’ behaviour can be tracked, each store’s list will reflect readers’ tastes. In time, each store’s ‘menu’ will become more customised to the readers in its area.
  3. Order your book, as you normally would for food, and get it delivered (still hot) within an hour. Exclusive to Exclusive Books, and available from La Lucia Mall, Gateway Theatre of Shopping and EB Ballito Junction.

Whilst the price of books via Uber Eats is marginally more than you would pay in-store (roughly 10 per cent premium), it is worth it for the convenience of contactless shopping and virtually instant delivery.
Fanatics will also be able to earn Fanatics points with their order by typing in their Fanatics number when ordering.
