The tiny travelling chef is back!

We are sure that you (like us) miss overseas travel for many reasons. One of the biggest is undoubtedly experimenting with an array of international food. Well, don’t be too disheartened, because we’ve got some exciting news!

The ‘world’s smallest chef’ or Le Petit Chef, is making his comeback in KZN after impressing diners the world over. After a brief sabbatical (and playing by lockdown rules), he is returning to the luxurious Beverly Hills Hotel to give locals a taste of exquisite international cuisine and a dinner experience they will never forget.

The Le Petit Chef invites you to partake in all things culinary while you enjoy a 3D tabletop projected evening of world travel, accompanied by a six course ‘date night on steroids’! The evening sees the nomadic tiny chef sharing his gourmet adventure, designed from his experiences along the Silk Route of Asia. The 3D projected extravaganza allows you to travel through the big, exciting and flavourful world of the intrepid explorer Marco Polo (albeit with masks and temperature checks, no border controls or quarantine will be necessary)!

The gourmet dining theatre hosts an intimate 30 guests per show (as per gazette requirements), the entertainment remains top-notch and your tastebuds will be titillated as ever before. Safety is a priority and extensive COVID-19 protocols will be in place to protect diners and the fully COVID trained staff alike.

The event includes a complimentary glass of MCC and the option of a wine-pairing to complement the dishes served. The menu remains shrouded in mystery, but guests are invited to sit back and allow resident Executive Chef Nathania Wasserman (together with the world’s smallest chef), to delight your tastebuds. The duo is able to accommodate all dietary needs – vegetarian, vegan, halaal-and-Kosher friendly.

And so, your authentic culinary journey begins as you traverse the Asian continent through the desert sands of Arabia, the dripping colours of India, the peaks of the Himalayas, the heavy mists of China, returning to the point of origin in the romantic cobbled streets of Marseilles, France.

Le Petit Chef and DinnerTimeStoriesSA, is the product of a few of the most talented and leading entertainment industry minds: Felip Sterckx and Antoon Verbeeck of Skullmapping fame, Nadine Beshir as concept creator, and brought to South Africa for your enjoyment by Paul Rouessart the Southern African show producer and owner of 100% EVENT.
