A moment of thanks…

It takes a special kind of person (or in this case people) to inspire members of the community to want to publicly thank them for their hard work and contribution.

Snow and Joanne Cogan, it seems, have done exactly this. Below is a tribute to them, sponsored by friends and colleagues who wish to remain anonymous.

‘If living in lockdown has taught us anything, it is to appreciate and show gratitude wherever possible. Life is short and it’s important to show appreciation to the ones we hold near and dear’.

Snow and Joanne Cogan have lived in Ballito for more than 17 years and have greatly impacted their town. Anyone who has met Snow knows his sharp tongue and quick-witted comebacks and a lucky few know his impressive business acumen and honourable mentorship skills.

Joanne has impressed on us her overwhelming kindness and generosity. A true role model and mentor, every encounter with her is inspiring.
During lockdown last year these two worked hard behind the scenes to distribute face masks and food supplies to those in need. We can’t deny that they have a heart of gold and help wherever possible.

They have gone above and behind for the colleagues and friends in their lives and we are so grateful to have the opportunity to work with them, know them and learn from them.
Despite facing personal stress, we never saw them waiver, crack under the pressure, or back down. They persevered and continue to do it, in style.

We want to say thank you for all you do behind the scenes. We will never be able to thank you enough for the support, guidance, mentorship and friendship.

Wishing you both a year filled with love, laughter, success, peace and all the things you desire.
