Creating your own cookbook is now as easy as pie!
Thanks to McCain and Food24 you can make your own personalised and printed cookbook and get it delivered straight to your door.
Building the personal cookbook is easy and can be completed in just a few steps. Give the book a name and personalise it with a special message. Then, upload six family recipes accompanied by photos, to give it that personal touch. Tailor the rest of the book using easy, pre-made recipe categories curated by McCain and chosen by you.
Included in your cookbook will be your personalised recipes, a selection of Food24’s most popular recipes, and family-friendly meal ideas using McCain products. The cookbook will also feature tips, cheat guides, storage suggestions and other fun food snippets, making this cookbook the perfect addition to any kitchen.
Once your personalised cookbook has been completed, check out, and you will receive a digital copy in your inbox and a printed copy delivered to your door. Easy as that!
Just in case that sounds like too much admin for your liking, there’s a ‘cheat’ version too – just add your name and a personal message, choose your favourite recipe categories and let the experts do the rest.

One of the tasty recipes you can add to your cookbook is chef Nono Mtshali’s creamy spinach fettuccine. Give it a try.
You’ll need: 400g McCain Creamed Spinach; 3 Tbsp olive oil; 100g bacon bits; 2 tsp crushed garlic; 1 onion, chopped; ½ tsp salt and freshly ground black pepper; 350g Fettucine pasta, cooked; grated parmesan cheese – to serve
- In a hot pan, fry the bacon in oil for one minute. Add the garlic and onion and fry for another minute.
- Season with salt and pepper. Microwave the frozen McCain “Delish” Creamed Spinach for 5 minutes.
- Add the spinach and cooked pasta to the bacon mixture and toss well.
- Serve with the grated parmesan cheese.
