Brighten up your Summer décor…

A quick-fix to add wow factor to your décor

“We all need uplifting – particularly after last year,” says Lou Harvey, who’s just launched her first collection of bespoke scatter cushions.  “We are spending more time in our homes so our spaces need to be more than purely decorative. And colour is emotive and can enhance how we feel about our surroundings.”

Lou (we’ve all got her bags) is an interior decorator at heart, and explained that lockdown inspired her to come up with the concept and the designs.  Scatter cushions add style, comfort and colour to your home in an instant. They are a quick-fix that add the wow-factor to your décor without breaking the bank, and an easy way to incorporate new trends.

This range offers something for everyone, from loyal Lou Harvey fans to those who have just begun their love affair with the brand.  The designs take inspiration from a variety of sources including Lou’s passion for all things India and Asia, and gives a nod to current trends (botanicals and the current craze for geometrics) as well as stripes and paisleys in bold pinks and yellows.  There’s also her all time favourite, leopard print.

“You can add leopard print to just about anything,” explains Lou. “I’m completely obsessed – there isn’t one colour that it doesn’t look good with”. As this complimentary basic can be combined with anything and any colour a leopard print as it’s a trend that just isn’t going anywhere, and is definitely here to stay,” she adds.
