Heavenly Spa spoils

There is a stunning new, upmarket beauty sanctuary tucked away in Salt Rock with skilled, professional therapists and treatments using high-end, exclusive products. We popped in for a visit recently.

From the moment I entered the Endless Beauty spa, it was clear that this establishment had been created with passion and care, and was being run professionally and with the utmost attention to detail. Proud owner Tash Parsons greeted me at the door, and I could tell within minutes of meeting her that the launch of this beautiful salon was the realisation of a long-time dream for this ambitious young woman.

Having studied somatology in Hillcrest for three years, Tash moved to Ballito where she managed a high-end spa for seven years before Covid closed the doors. “When things opened up again, I decided to go on my own as a mobile therapist. I had always dreamed of opening my own spa and having a base one day, though,” she says.

Endless Beauty is situated in the Salt Rock Shopping Centre and is tastefully designed with three treatment rooms (one big enough to accommodate couples or friends). They offer a wide range of services, from hands and feet to incredible facials, tinting and waxing and professional eyelash extensions and, of course, amazing massages. During my visit I was treated to a manicure and an 80-minute Cellular Recreation Face Treatment. Endless Beauty is the only spa in the area that uses the exclusive range of Team Dr Joseph products. “I have always thought very highly of this range and am so excited to be using it in my spa. The products are all made with a combination of one hundred percent natural ingredients and highly advanced technology, so you get the best of both worlds – plants and science,” says Tash.

We started with the 80-minute facial. There are 45-minute and 50-minute facial options as well, but this one includes a more concentrated serum and wonderful massages. The treatment is incredibly luxurious and relaxing and evokes all of your senses from the very start. A bit of deep breathing, a lymph drainage light pressure massage and warm compresses all help to relax you, and then a spray of pore-refining essence (with essential oils) really awakens the senses before the facial begins. The treatment includes a cleanse (with a milk for mature skin or gel for oily skin), followed by an enzymatic (not chemical) peel, which is made from pawpaw and pineapple and helps to dissolve dead skin cells, clear pigmentation and clear up underlying congestion (there is no down-time). Then, using the ‘Well Aging’ Team Dr Joseph range, Tash applied a serum, masque, moisturiser, lip contour cream and revitalising eye cream. She finished off with a light sunblock. The whole range is available to buy in-store as well.

Massage is a big part of this treatment, and it’s clear that Tash is both a skilled and experienced therapist. She has magic hands! “When it comes to the massage, we try to feel out what the client’s needs are, and then focus on those areas. It is usually a neck, shoulders and head massage, and an arm and hand massage.” After the absolutely heavenly facial spoil, I dragged myself off of the comfy bed and was led through to the pedicure station, where the lovely therapists greeted me with a bottle of water and set about doing my pedicure. A visit to this little gem really is such a spoil, especially if you value excellent service and high-quality treatments. They also still offer mobile spa treatments on request, which are ideal for customers who are homebound (for whatever reason), or would like to host a pamper party at home.
