For many of us, part of the festive season fun is decorating our homes and making beautiful memories. The Get It team took part in a wreath-making workshop with Cindy Rynhoud at her beautiful shop Love Laugh and learned to create unique and special pieces.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Love Laugh, located at the Ballito Lifestyle Centre, is one of those places that\u2019s simply a pleasure to step into. In a corner of the flower-filled shop, we set to work to learn about the art of wreath-making. Armed with an array of fresh, fragrant greenery, flowers, and an assortment of decorative elements, Cindy guided us through the process, giving us hints and tips along the way.
\nWhile Cindy advised us on the more practical parts of the process, we were given complete freedom to choose our elements and create a unique wreath. There was something truly therapeutic about working with our hands and expressing ourselves through a personalised, handmade creation for our homes.<\/p>\n

\n\u2022 Twine
\n\u2022 Scissors
\n\u2022 Florist tape
\n\u2022 Moss and greenery
\n\u2022 Dried details like cinnamon, lemon slices and chillies
\n\u2022 Ribbon<\/p>\n

1. Create a base by attaching moss to your wire ring. To do so, wrap moss onto the wire and wrap with string. There\u2019s no need to tie the string, but make sure that it is wrapped tight. Cindy\u2019s advice is to try and avoid being perfect at this stage \u2013 make your base wild and thick and don\u2019t be stingy with your moss.<\/em><\/p>\n
