This year, North Coast locals and visitors will enjoy plenty of fun at the 55th Ballito Pro from 25 June to 8 July. Besides surfing action, there\u2019s a jam-packed festival programme featuring live entertainment, shopping, extreme sports, art activations and kids\u2019 activities. <\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. TAKE A FAMILY OUTING<\/strong>
    \n\"\"Willard Beach will be a hive of activity, with lots to do for the whole family. Expect fashion shows, beach sports, dance, yoga, nduku (stick fighting) demonstrations and environmental displays. Little ones will enjoy the Kids\u2019 Corner where there will be daily face painting, sandcastle building, beach dashes, water balls, and the popular Jive with Jen dance programme.<\/li>\n
  2. WATCH SOME EXTREME SPORTS
    \n<\/strong>\"\"Surfing might be the focus of the festival, but be sure to check out the Ballito Pro Skate Jam at the Ballito Skate Park, which showcases the best in local and upcoming skate talent. The energy levels stay elevated at the Monster Energy Activation where top BMX performers will wow the crowd, while water sports enthusiasts will enjoy catching the Engen Ballito Downwind surfski race set to run between Blythedale and Tiffany\u2019s Beach.<\/li>\n
  3. ENJOY GOOD FOOD
    \n<\/strong>\"\"Taking it into the afternoon and evening, there will be great food, drinks, arts and crafts, an assortment of quality goods and live music at the Retail Delight section daily. Soak up the vibe, browse the stalls and enjoy some tasty fare in a relaxed environment.<\/li>\n
  4. FEEL THE BEAT<\/strong>
    \n\"\"The party continues with the Corona Sunset Sessions and Ballito Pro music concerts presented by Corona which is a free-to-attend, two-day festival showcasing top South African musicians. Battle of the DJs, dance competitions and after parties all form part of the After Dark Programme at Conchilla, Good Vibes and Mozambik Oyster Festival.<\/li>\n
  5. SUPPORT A GOOD CAUSE
    \n<\/strong>\"\"The Ballito Pro has a strong social, environmental, and cultural focus supporting local conservation, upliftment, and development initiatives. The 55th anniversary is no different, with this year\u2019s programme including the Litter4Tokens Recycling Awareness Campaign and Beach Activation encouraging ocean conservation while supporting livelihoods. The iLembe Surf Riders Fundraiser is also one not to be missed, as well as The Ballito Pro art activation, which includes an art competition hosted by Painting on Purpose set to uncover the region\u2019s hidden talent.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
