We popped in to Skin Solutions in Ballito to try a hydrating facial treatment.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Although we\u2019re blessed with mild winters on the North Coast, many of us struggle with a common skin concern in the cooler months \u2013 dryness. THE FOAMING ENZYME FACIAL EXPERIENCE<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. PREPARATION AND CLEANSING<\/strong>
    \nMaxine started by thoroughly cleansing the skin to remove any makeup, dirt, and impurities. This ensured that the skin was prepped and ready to absorb the full benefits of the treatment.<\/li>\n
  2. APPLICATION OF THE ENZYME MASK<\/strong>
    \nMaxine applied a specially formulated enzyme mask to the skin. This mask is designed to foam up, creating a bubbly texture that gently lifts away dead skin cells. This caused a slight tingling sensation, which is completely normal \u2013 as the enzymes get to work, the bonds between old skin cells break down. The foaming action effectively lifts away dirt, oil, and impurities, leaving skin clean and refreshed. Enzymes provide a mild exfoliation, removing dead skin cells without the need for abrasive scrubs, making it suitable for all skin types, and even those who struggle with acne.<\/li>\n
  3. REMOVAL AND CLEANSING<\/strong>
    \nOnce the mask has worked its magic, it was gently removed. Any remaining product was cleansed away, leaving our skin feeling fresh.<\/li>\n

    \nThe final step involved the application of a hydrating moisturiser to replenish the skin\u2019s moisture levels. A broad-spectrum SPF was also applied to protect the skin from UV damage.
