While underwear might seem like a basic necessity, it has a surprisingly rich history. From ancient loincloths to high-tech, moisture-wicking fabrics, the evolution of underwear is a wild ride through fashion and function.<\/p>\n

Bare necessities<\/strong>
\nPicture this: Ancient Egyptians in linen loincloths, Greeks sporting leather strips called subligacula, and Roman gladiators girding their loins. Back then, underwear was all about protection and practicality. Forget lace and frills; these early garments were strictly business.<\/p>\n
