\nJapanese Squeeze by Sashamon. It\u2019s not a traditional Christmas song, but it feels like Hawaii, and Durban in December is basically Hawaii, let\u2019s be honest!<\/p>\n

One thing on your Christmas wish list this year:<\/strong>
\nNo list for me. Christmas is about giving, not getting.<\/p>\n

One goal or dream you\u2019d love to tick off in 2026:<\/strong>
\nCreating a sustainable home for Arts & Culture innovation and development. That\u2019s the big one.<\/p>\n

Lil Bianchi<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\"\"<\/a>Favourite Christmas tradition:<\/strong>
\nI would absolutely have to say eating like I\u2019m carb-loading for a marathon I never signed up for, alongside seeing how many Quality Street chocolates I can eat before anyone notices the tin is empty.<\/p>\n

Go-to Christmas dish, drink, or sweet treat:<\/strong>
\nI\u2019m a sucker for a home-brewed gl\u00fchwein. It doesn\u2019t matter if I wake up on Christmas Eve and it\u2019s 38 degrees out\u2014I cannot go without the smell of brewing gl\u00fchwein on the stove.<\/p>\n

Ultimate holiday movie or song:<\/strong>
\nHere Comes Santa Claus, but the version from Snoop Dogg\u2019s Dogghouse. It\u2019s funky, funny, and full of that Snoop swagger.<\/p>\n

One thing on your Christmas wish list this year:<\/strong>
\nBeing the first Christmas with my baby boy, all I want is for his world to always be this full of magic.<\/p>\n

Looking ahead to 2026, one goal or dream you\u2019d love to tick off:<\/strong>
\n2026 is not going to be about becoming more, but becoming undeniable.<\/p>\n

Losh & Resh Naidoo<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\"\"<\/a>Favourite Christmas tradition:<\/strong>
\nGathering for Christmas lunch with our entire family, surrounded by beautiful decor, delicious food, laughter, presents, and lots of love. It\u2019s the heart of our holiday season!<\/p>\n

Go-to Christmas dish, drink, or sweet treat:<\/strong>
\nOur dad\u2019s legendary turkey! He only makes it once a year, and it truly tastes like Christmas. It\u2019s become our family\u2019s festive signature dish.<\/p>\n

\nMariah Carey\u2019s All I Want for Christmas, Justin Bieber\u2019s Drummer Boy, and of course, the timeless Boney M classics!<\/p>\n

\nThe new Dyson Coanda 2x, because great hair days are a gift that keeps on giving!<\/p>\n

Looking ahead to 2026, one goal or dream you\u2019d love to tick off:<\/strong>
\nWith both our kids finishing school next year, Losh and I are excited to finally bring our long-time dream to life: launching our fashion brand, Made You Look SA The Label.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Favourite Christmas tradition:<\/strong>
\nFor me, Christmas is built around family, faith, and food. It starts with a big breakfast then it\u2019s off to church in our Christmas outfits, and yes, the clothes are brand new from top to bottom. That\u2019s always been a thing in my family.
\nWe spend the morning at church, celebrating the true meaning of the day, and by lunchtime, the snacks come out while everyone starts to relax. The kids scatter to play outside while the adults get busy with Sunday lunch. Around 3 pm, the feast begins, and by the end of it, everyone\u2019s so full they can barely move! That\u2019s the picture I see when I think of Christmas. It\u2019s how we\u2019ve done it for years, and it\u2019s become our special family tradition.<\/p>\n

Go-to Christmas dish, drink, or sweet treat:<\/strong>
\nWithout a doubt, 7 Colours! If even one colour is missing, it just doesn\u2019t feel right. I\u2019m talking rice, beef or chicken curry, potato salad, butternut, beetroot, coleslaw, and tomato relish \u2013 all on one plate.<\/p>\n

Ultimate holiday movie or song:<\/strong>
\nMovie-wise, it has to be Home Alone. Music-wise, it\u2019s all about the festive favourites: Mariah Carey\u2019s All I Want for Christmas and Michael Bubl\u00e9\u2019s It\u2019s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas mixed with a few random bangers to keep the vibes going.<\/p>\n

One thing on your Christmas wish list this year:<\/strong>
\nHonestly, since I\u2019ll be working quite a bit this festive season, what I really want is to recreate the Christmas I remember growing up \u2013 surrounded by family, great food, and gratitude to God. Spending the day with my son is the ultimate gift. I\u2019ve got something pretty epic planned for him if he nails his school marks this year!<\/p>\n

Looking ahead to 2026, one goal or dream you\u2019d love to tick off:<\/strong>
\nTo travel the world and perform on international stages.<\/p>\n

Derryn Scott<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\nA big part of my festive joy comes from spending time with loved ones and enjoying the seasonal treats and celebrations.<\/p>\n

\nI do enjoy a good old champagne over Christmas. I love a wholesome roast, and for a sweet treat\u2026anything with dark chocolate!<\/p>\n

\nHoliday movies? Definitely The Holiday and Love Actually. I\u2019m a hopeless romantic all the way. Song of choice: All I Want for Christmas Is Youuuuu!<\/p>\n

\nTo see my mom and sister, who live abroad! This year, my whole family will be together. So blessed!<\/p>\n

Looking ahead to 2026, one goal or dream you\u2019d love to tick off:<\/strong>
\nMy goal is to have more fun, make mistakes, get creative, playful, connect deeper with my community, and just GO FOR IT! To not look back and to always have one foot in gratitude, one foot in growth and desire.<\/p>\n

\nDefinitely the one where you play UNO and no one talks to each other for the rest of the day.<\/p>\n

\nGammon with a mustard dressing is a must for me. I will literally leave if it\u2019s not there. And then, of course, lots of red wine. But good red wine out of a bottle, not a box.<\/p>\n

\nThe entire Leon Schuster Hie\u2019 Kommie Bokke 1995 album.<\/p>\n

One thing on your Christmas wish list this year:<\/strong>
\nA lot of people would want something like the newest PlayStation 5, but I\u2019d actually love a PlayStation 2, because I still have all the games! You just don\u2019t get those anymore\u2026<\/p>\n

\nWinning the Comrades.<\/p>\n

Sindisiwe Cele<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\nChristmas has always been extra special for my family because it\u2019s also my mother\u2019s birthday. For as long as I can remember, we haven\u2019t just celebrated Christmas, we\u2019ve celebrated her too. It\u2019s a tradition that brings all five of us siblings together, along with our kids, in one home.<\/p>\n

Go-to Christmas dish, drink, or sweet treat:<\/strong>
\nMy sister\u2019s gammon dish is my absolute favourite. It\u2019s the one thing I look forward to every Christmas! She loves cooking, and I love eating, so it\u2019s the perfect match. It just wouldn\u2019t feel like Christmas without it.<\/p>\n

Ultimate holiday movie or song:<\/strong>
\nI\u2019m a sucker for a good rom-com! So whatever cheesy Christmas rom-com is playing on Netflix, that\u2019s what we\u2019re watching. It\u2019s light-hearted, feel-good, and just adds to the festive spirit.<\/p>\n

One thing on your Christmas wish list this year:<\/strong>
\nHonestly, a couple of million rands in my account wouldn\u2019t hurt! But truly, all I want is happiness, to spend the holidays with my daughter and my family, feeling content, loved, and grateful for everything we already have.<\/p>\n

Looking ahead to 2026, one goal or dream you\u2019d love to tick off:<\/strong>
\nI\u2019m excited about venturing into a new industry and watching that chapter unfold and grow. It\u2019s a season of expansion for me in business, in experiences, and in how I show up in the world. I\u2019m also hoping to travel more, to explore new places that inspire me and remind me how big and beautiful life really is.<\/p>\n

Louise Carver<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\"\"<\/a>Favourite Christmas tradition:<\/strong>
\nIt\u2019s all about Christmas Eve dinner in our family \u2013 beautifully decorated tables, champagne, and fairy lights everywhere. This will be our first Christmas in Ballito, so we\u2019re hoping to start some new traditions\u2026maybe gin and tonics on the beach as the sun sets, a time to exhale and reflect on the year and all we have to be grateful for.<\/p>\n

Go-to Christmas dish, drink, or sweet treat:<\/strong>
\nYes to all of the above! Chilled champagne with pomegranate seeds at the bottom, the incredible flavours of homemade gravies and sauces, roast potatoes, black mushrooms, fish on the braai\u2026then my mum\u2019s milk tart, which is exceptional!<\/p>\n

Ultimate holiday movie or song:<\/strong>
\nThe Night Before with Seth Rogen, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Anthony Mackie is really offbeat and fun. The Snowman, an animation, has the most stunning music \u2013 beautiful for children and adults.<\/p>\n

Music-wise, you have to have Michael Bubl\u00e9 and George Michael\u2019s Last Christmas. My producer friend Simz Kulla introduced me to the South African a cappella group Just 6 and their newly released Christmas album Ukhisimusi \u2013 An African Christmas, and I love it!<\/p>\n

One thing on your Christmas wish list this year:<\/strong>
\nFor my parents to join us over the festive season in Ballito. The time I spend with them has become so much more meaningful. Anything material is lovely, but nothing compares to family time.<\/p>\n

Looking ahead to 2026, one goal or dream you\u2019d love to tick off:<\/strong>
\nI have so many dreams and goals, so it\u2019s hard to pick just one. I\u2019m always very busy and can feel frustrated when things don\u2019t move at the pace I expect. I\u2019m working on appreciating the little wins and not neglecting my body.
