Burgundy, gold and a riot of pink and orange flowers set the scene for our Diwali gathering at Brettenwood Clubhouse in Salt Rock.
\n<\/strong>The Get It team came together around this beautifully styled table to enjoy good food, a pretty space, and most importantly, time together.<\/p>\n

THE DECOR<\/strong>
\n\"\"<\/a>Traditional Indian elements met contemporary styling, with a colour palette of deep burgundy and gold, and pops of pink and orange. Orchids and roses brought a sophisticated touch, while glass stands and carefully chosen accessories kept the look fresh and modern.<\/p>\n

With a mix of rich colours, textures and decorative details, nothing felt too formal, and the result was a table that felt festive and elegant without being fussy. It\u2019s a look that could easily be adapted at home, too. Start with a colour palette you love, bring out a few special pieces and let a striking centrepiece do the talking.<\/p>\n

And then, of course, there was the food. Diwali celebrations call for plenty to share, starting with pani puri and a selection of snacks, including samoosas, puri patha, chilli bites and veda. The main meal kept things simple with vegetable breyani, dhall and salad, before moving on to the sweet stuff.<\/p>\n

The dessert spread was a celebration in itself, with burfee, ladoo, coconut ice, burfee truffles, gulab jamun and chana magaj. With so many different flavours and textures on offer, it was the sort of table that encourages everyone to go back for another taste.<\/p>\n
