A bachelorette party is the perfect excuse to party up a storm or bond with your bffs in a different city or even country. Whether you’re looking for a Las Vegas kind of partying, a wine-filled weekend, an Airbnb sleepover or a Balineseinspired ‘eat pray love’ vacation, the options are endless. Depending on the bride-to-be’s personal style, there’s a great destination for a celebration somewhere out there. For the wine-loving bride-to-be,
consider throwing a vineyard bachelorette party trip with wine tastings and a tour of various wineries. Plan on touring three to five vineyards, and have a different game or activity to do at each venue. Start it off with some icebreaker games at the first
venue, so guests can get to know one another. Then plan yard games, wineor
wedding-related games, or crafting sessions at the remaining wineries. Along with tasting the different wines, these activities will keep this vineyard bachelorette party action packed
and fun for everyone. Have a filled picnic basket on one of the farms with the girls. Choose from vineyards in Franschhoek such as Boschendal or Babylonstoren.

A celebration at the beach makes for the perfect ocean backdrop and coastal colour palettes. Whether you’re going for an upscale vibe or a relaxed vibe, a seaside shower highlights the best parts of summer and is amendable to any vibe. A beachside shower does not mean bonfires and beach towels. Include all the elements you would for a more formal setting such as a table, beautiful déco, lovely chairs and placemats. Choose wooden
furniture, as it will be sturdy on the beach sand. The bride and guests should rather arrive an hour before sunset, that way more beach-goers would have already have left the area.
Ensure you keep the gifts away from the sun and always keep the bride and guests hydrated with fruit infused water that makes for the perfect drinks table. Serve canapés and food that don’t need to be warmed up and are easy to eat. After the formalities,
incorporate water activities or just have light- hearted fun on the beach with sand between your toes.

For the zen bride-to-be who wants the last few moments of her unwedded days to be peaceful and filled with spa treatments, meditation and great cuisine, an ‘eat pray love’ themed bachelorette party will be the perfect spiritual escape. Escape to a serene
destination such as Mpumalanga for a weekend away packed with spa treatments, brunch, mountainous views and even a game drive at the Kruger National Park. For an international experience, book a trip to Bali where the ‘eat pray love’ phenomenon all started.

For the party girl, book an Airbnb house for the weekend to a party capital with great nightlife such as Long Street in Cape Town, Florida Road in Durban or Sandton in
Johannesburg. Ensure the house has all the necessities for a perfect weekend away: pool, balcony, enough bedrooms, a spacious lounge and make sure it is safe. Book a house
close to the central party spots for convenience. Have an itinerary for the weekend such as having a brunch spread at the house with bottomless mimosas, a game night before
partying, a pyjama party and of course, a jam-packed weekend of partying and
trying out new spots.
