Security has been our business since 1996. Defensor Security is a Free State-based 100% South African company and specialises in Guarding; Alarm Monitoring; Armed Response; and CCTV Remote Event Monitoring Divisions.
With the core business being alarm systems, monitoring and armed response, a Guarding Division was added in 2003 and in 2006 and then Remote Off-Site CCTV and an Event Monitoring Division were added to the product range offered by the company. Defensor is geared to deliver a holistic security service to the market. Defensor is registered with the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA) and with the South African Intruder Detection Services Association (SAIDSA).
Both physical and electronic security systems are necessary to be effective. This is an all-encompassing service that is rendered to a client, and include: risk and vulnerability assessments, system maintenance, research, development of new technologies, protocols for security systems and components. The systems installed and serviced include: access control systems, electronic entry control systems, intrusion detection systems, closed circuit television systems, security fencing clear view, video management systems and specialised guarding solutions.
