Annette Kasselman is Co-Owner, Director and Property Professional of RealNet
Bloemfontein. RealNet Bloemfontein has had the honour of being RealNet’s
National Franchise of the Year for the 6th consecutive year. Annette was Mrs South
Africa 2006 as well as Mrs Worldwide International 2007. Her other professional
accolades include National Rookie of the Year, Top Agent and Ambassador of the
Year for the RealNet group.
She explains her job as a joyous one, a job of bonding with people and offering them her services by selling or buying a home for their family. Adding to that, she is also assigned to marketing the agency and promoting business and its agents. ’’By the grace of God, I have managed to find the perfect balance between family, work, charity and being in the public eye.” She believes that excellent time management skills, punctuality and prioritising are key.
There is no greater satisfaction than seeing a happy client beaming when they
realise they have found their dream home “My other ‘jobs’ are being a brand
ambassador to Engo, Mimosa Mall, Kolor Studio and Seamless1SA, which still gives
me the platform to live out my passion for charity, paying it forward and giving
hope to others.”
Annette’s best decision was following the advice of her parents to listen to different
opinions, taking the best of it and then making it her own. She does not dwell on
bad decisions. She advises to survive the third wave of Covid-19, one has to listen to
one’s body. If there’s a little pain, have it checked and keep your mask on.
When Annette has some free time, she gets her hands dirty by doing some
gardening. Her advice to young female businesswomen is show initiative and then
be so good that you can’t be ignored. She loves collaborating with other women. “I
believe women are much more powerful than they think. We can really change the
world.”
