Tredenham Boutique Hotel, “a place like no other”, is how Ivan Jacobson, the general manager of the hotel describes the place.
The 10 bedroom boutique hotel that is situated in the secure estate of Tredenham Valley on the outskirts of Bloemfontein, opened its door in June of 2017 and business has been booming ever since.
Renowned for its warm hospitality, exceptional service and gourmet cuisine, the hotel offers large rooms, Wi-Fi with work and seating areas in each room which is ideal for business or leisure guests.
The hotel offers a modern and beautiful business centre, library and reading lounge facilities that are free to use for the in house guests, pending availability. The modern-styled hotel also has a restaurant and bar that is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. This is only available to guests staying at the hotel.
According to Jacobson, although the hotel is tucked away from the city, it is only minutes away from shopping, nightlife and landmark attractions. “We are close enough to Bloem for people’s necessities, yet we are far enough for people to feel like they have some privacy away from the city,” he said.
Jacobson also said that the pandemic did slow down business for them, especially in the first three months of hard lockdown. “We were however fortunate to operate soon after that as we were able to open the hotel to business travellers. We were also lucky enough to have had no retrenchments and negatives on the hospitality side of the hotel.”
Tredenham Boutique Hotel is currently only open to the in house guests.
