Everything that doesn\u2019t have a home, usually ends up being stashed in the garage, right? In fact, the garage is sometimes so full of stuff, that you can\u2019t even park your car inside it any more, which totally defeats the purpose of having a garage. From kids toys and sports kits to the big boys\u2019 toys and tools, and everything in between.\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

So go on, clean out your garage, throw out and donate everything you haven\u2019t used in the last six months and set up your newly organised garage with only what you really need and use. Try to incorporate these five tips from MotorHappy<\/a> to make sure your garage stays clean, your cars protected, and you always have what you need at hand:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. A pressure cleaner is great for not only cleaning your car but your house walls, motorbikes, boats, pavement and pretty much anything.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Keep a vacuum in your garage, ideally one with a long suction pipe which makes it easy to reach under your car seats. No more lugging your vacuum cleaner from your house into your garage!<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. A laser or ultrasonic parking aid will help you fit a large vehicle in tight spaces. If you\u2019re not ready to go so hi-tech just yet, consider nailing pool noodles along the wall, next to where you open your door. That means if you\u2019re a bit over-zealous when you get out of the car, your door will hit the pool noodle rather than the wall.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. A fully equipped toolbox is essential not only for your car but also for using around the house. There is nothing worse than not having the right tool at hand, so go on and invest in good quality tools.<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. When it comes to garage storage shelves, think vertical. Invest in some good shelving and other garage storage equipment to allow you to make full use of the wall space and to keep the floor space clear.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
