The festive season is here, and there\u2019s no better way to welcome your guests than with a delicious snack that sets the tone for the feast ahead. Impress your friends and family at your next gathering with this crowd-pleasing Bacon-Wrapped Sweet Potato<\/strong> starter, courtesy of Braai Boy.<\/h3>\n

This recipe is perfect for those who love easy-to-make dishes that deliver big on flavour. Sweet, smoky, and irresistible, it\u2019s a guaranteed conversation starter while you finish preparing the main course.<\/p>\n

To have this snack ready, you will need 45 minutes to prepare and cook.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>Ingredients: <\/strong><\/h4>\n

2 medium sweet potatoes<\/p>\n

500 g streaky bacon<\/p>\n

Olive oil<\/p>\n

Spices \u2013 salt, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper<\/p>\n

Honey<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>Let\u2019s braai<\/strong><\/h4>\n
    \n
  1. Firstly, peel the sweet potatoes and cut them into roughly 3cm x 3cm cubes. Then place the cubes on some heavy duty foil, coat them in olive oil and then spice using the paprika, cayenne and salt according to taste.<\/li>\n
  2. Close the foil to form a \u201cparcel\u201d and place on a high heat (or event directly in the coals).<\/li>\n
  3. Remove the sweet potatoes from the fire once they have softened, but are still firm.<\/li>\n
  4. Cut bacon strips in half. Using a half, wrap a sweet potato cube and secure it with a toothpick.<\/li>\n
  5. Place the wrapped cubes directly onto the grid and braai until bacon is crispy.<\/li>\n
  6. Remove from the fire, drizzle with honey.<\/li>\n
  7. Serve, and enjoy!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
