Golf Day fun

The Union of Jewish Women Durban hosted its 31st annual Golf Day at the Royal Durban Golf Club recently, and in spite of some dreadful predictions, even the weather played its part, offering a full field of 144 players the opportunity to tee off under warm, blue skies.

Loads of fun on the fairway was followed by a jovial prize-giving filled with incredible prizes thanks to a host of generous sponsors. Funds raised from the day were donated to the Open Air School, St. Martin’s  Children’s Home and the Masada Workshop. A portion will also be used towards ongoing Union projects. The UJW would like to thank all those involved who contributed to the success of the event.
