The biannual Natal Orchid Society Orchid Show will charm all orchid lovers and keen gardeners on the weekend of 28 and 29 March 2020 at Parkhill Bowling Club in Durban North.
Appealing to everyone, the show includes potting demonstrations and expert advice to nurture the comprehensive range of orchids available for sale. There is the opportunity to enter raffles with a chance of winning an orchid and a tea garden selling refreshments and light lunches will also be available.
“The much anticipated event for avid orchid fans and admirers of exquisite beauty is bound to mesmerize with the spectacular collection of hybrids and species, all in prime condition and ready to compete for first place in the grand judging.” says Melanie van Greunen of the Natal Orchid Society.
The public are invited to attend on Saturday 28 March, from 10.30 am to 4pm and on Sunday 29 March, from 9am to 3pm. Admission is payable at the door and is R20 for adults and free for children under 12.
