Baker Tilly Morrison Murray understands that auditing and accounting is much more than just numbers. It’s a conglomerate that attests your financial records and produces reports that will show the health of your company while helping you grow your future business aspirations.

With roots dating back to 1914, the firm of Registered Auditors and Chartered Accountants has established itself as a niche player in the local market by offering comprehensive auditing and business advisory services. As an independent member of the global network of Baker Tilly International Ltd, the firm offers outstanding personal service combined with expertise, strength and resources.

Increasing its capacity and services further, Baker Tilly Morrison Murray and RSM SA Durban merged in October 2019. The firm now consists of 10 Partners and 150 staff members, with Susan Stanley remaining as the Managing Partner and the firm’s name continuing as Baker Tilly Morrison Murray.

Commenting on the merger Susan says, ‘This unity brings innovative opportunities for our teams to expand their knowledge and ensures that they have the necessary skills required in today’s modern business world to cope with increasing regulatory requirements.’

The firm recently appointed Nicci Weymouth as a Partner and Kamini Naicker and Sarah-Kate Stocker as Associates. Susan says as the accounting industry is predominantly a male dominated profession, she is proud of these women’s achievements and, grinning, adds, ‘It goes a long way in balancing out the boardroom table with the guys.’
