7 tips for business success

In celebration of their seventh anniversary, international award-winning business coaching firm, ActionCOACH Ignite share seven high level tips for business owners to consider in order to take their businesses to the next level.

  1. Consistent Marketing – Consistent marketing is key to business growth and success. Marketing should be an investment and not an expense. Identify the strategies that are bringing in the leads, implement a ‘test & measure’ system for all your marketing campaigns and always ensure that any new business acquired brings in more gross profit than the marketing cost spent.
  1. Know your Numbers – You don’t need to be an accountant to own or run a business but it is imperative that you understand and track the important numbers in your business.
  2. Time Management – Make sure you are using your time in the most efficient way possible. As the business owner you should focus on the high value tasks and delegate the low value tasks to your team members. Consider using a default diary to ensure that you are spending enough time working “on” the business in addition to working “in” the business.
  3. Personal Development – You cannot grow and improve your business unless you grow and improve yourself. Make personal development a priority and make time to read business books, participate in webinars and/or online courses. Remember to encourage your employees to learn new skills as well.
  4. Learn to Lead – There is no such thing as bad team members, only bad leaders. Learn to be a great leader and you will attract the people you deserve in your business.
  5. Raving Fans – Focus on turning your customers into Raving Fans. Raving Fans are clients that go out of their way to refer you, thereby providing you with a great stream of incoming leads from a passionate sales force that doesn’t cost you anything.
  6. Money & Time Freedom – Business ownership should provide you with money and time freedom. If not, then you are doing something wrong and need to reassess key areas within your business to identify any necessary adjustments that need to be made accordingly.

“Prepare, stay positive and intentionally plan to ensure the last half of 2021 is filled with successful business opportunities,” concludes Darryn Le Grange, Owner of ActionCOACH Ignite.
