International Women’s Day was celebrated with a brilliant event, with loads of fun, raucous laughter and lots of inspirational messages. The tone was set by attorney Shahir Ramdass’ witty and humorous opening talk, followed by stories from inspiring women – all with a strong message focussed on women. Guest speakers included Aldytha da Silva from Skin By Aldytha, Cindy Norcott, who shared snippets from her book How Does She Do It, and Champagne Moments’ Senta Seele, who engaged guests with a passionate talk about her life with both its glamour and setbacks. The morning ended with a lovely dance show by Maya Dance Company and a fashion show by Jane Linley-Thomas with her Rejoyce Collection. The event was hosted by Lady Boho Nail & Beauty Bar together with Ramdass Attorneys … and was held at the Northlands Bowling Green in Durban North.
