It was all canapes, smiles and sing-a-longs as guests – radio personalities, social media influencers, media, donors and other charities – enjoyed a fabulous finger lunch at Embocraft Training Centre Trust, and discovered what the Trust is all about and how to help create value. The training centre, which upskills the community with sewing, welding, woodworking and textile ark skills, provides employment where possible and also has an on-site shop where visitors can buy items that have been made by the students. They’re are all incredibly beautiful and bespoke and make for brilliant talking points when worn or displayed in your home. You’ll find the shop at 27 Old Main Road, Botha’s Hill, it’s open Monday to Thursday 8am to 4pm and on Friday until 3:30pm. Details: IG: @embocraft or FB: @embocrafttrainingcentre
