A touch of country living

The Mushroom Farm was abuzz with activities during its recent Country Living Week – one that saw visitors flock to the family-friendly local and tourist destination in Assagay for an array of interesting talks, workshops, and specials. One of the highlights of the 10-day event was a special gut health talk by meal planner, nutrition coach and founder of MamaWanda Life, Wanda du Toit, in conjunction with Loafers Low Carb Deli & Real Food Shop. Guests engaged with Wanda and Robyn Webster, owner of the deli, which stocks a wide variety of fresh, healthy and homemade goodies that can be enjoyed just as much as any other foods but with greater health benefits. Everybody who attended was sent home with a goodie bag of lovely low-carb treats to enjoy!
