Before the Durban July horses set off, the who’s who of Durbs gathered to cheer on the finalists at the Hollywoodbets Durban July Young Designer Awards presented by Durban Fashion Fair and the Top 10 designers were: Sinqobile Nzama, Ismael Mchunu (Durban University of Technology), Nhlanhla Dlamini, Nandi Mkhize, Sebenzile Cecilia, Slindile Ndlovu (Pietermaritzburg School of Fashion), Vuyisile Nguzanye (Lindiwe Khuzwayo Academy of Fashion Design), Siyathokoza Zikhali (Fezile Fashion Skills Academy), Kenda Ntumba and Nonjabulo Khanyile (Eldonai School of Fashion).
