The recent Life is a Circus collaboration between TAFTA and local creatives was a joyful celebration of elders’ stories through colour, music and playful transformation. Styled by Jane Linley-Thomas and The ReJoyce Collection, residents embraced circus-inspired roles, while Kendyl Benjamin’s make-up, Brett van Dort’s photography and Jonathan Mazoue’s portraits captured the magic. The event was more than dress-up – it was storytelling, connection and a powerful reminder to honour and celebrate every stage of life.
