There was no shortage of sparkle and love at Hillcrest High School’s Angel Fund Denim & Diamonds fundraising tea. Hosted in celebration of Women’s Month, the event honoured the remarkable women of the HHS community, while raising vital funds for students in need. Guests arrived dressed in dazzling denim and glittering touches, setting the tone for a morning filled with laughter, connection and generosity. The highlight of the event was the performance by comedian Carvin H Goldstone, whose witty stories had the room in stitches. Thanks to generous donations, lucky draw prizes, including luxury getaways and gift hampers, more than R35 000 was raised for HHS’ Angel Fund. The fund helps provide uniforms, stationery and food support to learners throughout the year.
