Chef Debbie Mclaughlin, from Hilda’s Kitchen, has created this appetising starter, Retro Prawn & Avo Ritz Cocktail, to serve to your guests this festive season with a glass of Groote Post\u2019s new Brut Cap Classique.<\/p>\n

RETRO PRAWN <\/strong>& AVO RITZ COCKTAIL RECIPE<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ingredients<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

600gr. Cooked Prawns (Tails and Head Intact) – Deveined<\/p>\n

2 Tbs. Sweet Chilli Sauce<\/p>\n

1\u00bd Tbs. Fish Sauce<\/p>\n

Finely Grated Zest and Juice Of 1x Lime<\/p>\n

\u2153 Cup of Greek Yoghurt<\/p>\n

2 Tbs. Homemade Mayonnaise<\/p>\n

1 Tsp. Caster Sugar<\/p>\n

\u00bc Iceberg Lettuce Finely Sliced<\/p>\n

1 Avo, Peeled and Thinly Sliced<\/p>\n

Method<\/em><\/strong>:<\/p>\n

Whisk fish and sweet chili sauces, yoghurt, lime zest, mayonnaise and caster sugar until the mixture is smooth. Divide lettuce among glasses and add avo and prawns. Drizzle with sauce and garnish with lime wedges.<\/p>\n

Enjoy with a glass of Groote Post MCC Brut.<\/p>\n
