This delicious Pasta Al Limone by Isla Rechner of <span class=\"d2edcug0 hpfvmrgz qv66sw1b c1et5uql lr9zc1uh a8c37x1j keod5gw0 nxhoafnm aigsh9s9 embtmqzv fe6kdd0r mau55g9w c8b282yb hrzyx87i m6dqt4wy h7mekvxk hnhda86s oo9gr5id hzawbc8m\" dir=\"auto\">Isla&#8217;s <\/span>fits the brief &#8211; creamy and indulgent with zesty citrus to balance it out, it is certainly one of our go-to dishes, and we&#8217;re sure, once you&#8217;ve knocked it out, it will become one of yours too!<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Pasta al Limone \u2013 serves 4<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1 pack fresh or dried fettuccine<\/p>\n<p>1 knob of butter<\/p>\n<p>2 garlic cloves crushed<\/p>\n<p>Zest of 1 lemon<\/p>\n<p>Juice of 2 lemons<\/p>\n<p>1 tablespoon chopped thyme<\/p>\n<p>\u00bc cup dry white wine<\/p>\n<p>500ml cream<\/p>\n<p>\u00bc cup pecorino grated<\/p>\n<p>Salt and black pepper to taste<\/p>\n<p><strong>Method<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First, get a large pot of water onto the heat. Salt the water, don\u2019t be shy you want the water to taste like the Durban surf. Put onto the boil. You want it to be a rolling boil. Place the pasta in and cook according to packet instructions.<\/li>\n<li>Whilst the pasta is cooking get started with your sauce.<\/li>\n<li>Place a saucepan on medium heat. Place butter and once heated add garlic.<\/li>\n<li>Add lemon zest and herbs cooking for a minute<\/li>\n<li>Pour in your wine and reduce by half, followed by the cream and lemon juice<\/li>\n<li>Cook for a few minutes, the acid of the lemon juice will thicken the cream<\/li>\n<li>Drain pasta and add to the sauce along with the pecorino<\/li>\n<li>Toss well together divide between four bowl<\/li>\n<li>Finish off with as much pecorino as you deem fit<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>During the week, we love our dinners to be comforting due to the weather and quick to whip up in a flash.
