Listed on any menu, the humble chocolate treat has become a classic, with endless variants\u2026just like these Chocolate cherry brownies by foodie Isla Rechner.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The combination of the rich unctuous flavour of dark chocolate paired with the sharp tartness of cherries\u2026 once you whip up this recipe it will become a classic in your very own kitchen!<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"cxmmr5t8 oygrvhab hcukyx3x c1et5uql o9v6fnle ii04i59q\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><strong>Chocolate cherry brownies \u2013 makes 16<\/strong><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"cxmmr5t8 oygrvhab hcukyx3x c1et5uql o9v6fnle ii04i59q\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong> 250g butter, 200g dark chocolate, 1 teaspoon instant coffee, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 170g brown sugar, 130g caster sugar, 4 eggs, 40g cocoa powder, 180g plain flour, 200g cherries, pitted and halved<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"cxmmr5t8 oygrvhab hcukyx3x c1et5uql o9v6fnle ii04i59q\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><strong>Method:<\/strong> Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Place chocolate and butter in a bowl and place on a double boiler. Cook on medium heat until butter and chocolate are melted. Take off the heat and add coffee and vanilla. Mix in both sugars, followed by the eggs. Leave to cool slightly and fold in the flour and cocoa powder until smooth. Lastly, add your pitted cherries. Pour into muffin moulds until two-thirds fill. Bake for 22 minutes.
