Described as date night on steroids and a bucket-list experience, a meal with Le Petit Chef is an unmissable sensory extravaganza.<\/p>\n

\"\"From the earth to your table, ingredients are transformed, with French style, into dishes that will boggle your mind and ensnare your senses. This one-of-a-kind dinner party experience comes to Radisson Blu Hotel in Umhlanga, until the end of June, and will see our favourite flirtatious Frenchman pop up in all his pint-sized glory, to take you on a sumptuous six-course culinary adventure, as he forages for the freshest home-grown ingredients, trawls the ocean, tends to his roosts, pastures for the most succulent cuts of meat and finally, heads for the Arctic in search of the perfect dessert to thrill your tastebuds. It\u2019s a whimsical evening with engaging animation that blends seasonal and fresh dishes while showcasing the story behind each course in a way that amazes and delights.<\/p>\n

Beach bums are invited to support participants of the Oceans 8 Charity Swim – a first-of-its-kind, warm water ocean challenge for charity. Started by Duzi Umngeni Conservation Trust (DUCT), the National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI), Project Rhino, Singakwenza Early Childhood Education, and WILDTRUST \u2013 the aim of this epic ocean swim is to fund their work, as well as the work of other deserving NPOs across KZN – allowing them to deliver on projects which impact education, the environment,\u00a0 and community development and upliftment. Visitors to Clansthal Conservancy\u2019s Winter Craft Market can enjoy a relaxing Sunday morning in a beautiful garden with magnificent sea views, while browsing 48 hand-picked stalls offering a range of local and unique crafts, clothing, d\u00e9cor and artisanal food. There will be live music, making the experience and atmosphere that much more enjoyable. Get there early for breakfast and stay for lunch. The market takes place on June 25 from 9am to 2pm at the delightful home of Keith and Liz Cunningham, 111 Pig & Whistle Drive, Clansthal. All funds raised will be used to support conservancy initiatives that are focussed on the environmental aspects or needs of the area.
