Forest View Primary School celebrates 50 years of excellence in education this year.\u00a0 As one reflects on this milestone, it raises the important question of what quality education actually comprises of.\u00a0 Whilst the foundations of learning and the delivering of a meaningful curriculum are the core business of each academic day, these are only possible with all the relevant roleplayers being actively engaged in the pursuit thereof.<\/p>\n

\"\"Mr Daryl Franks -Oakridge College<\/strong><\/p>\n

Oakridge College is known by some parents as the \u201cHidden Gem\u201d of Durban North Education, and is a happy, disciplined, co-educational high school. It caters for Grade 8 to 12 learners and had strong academic results in the National Senior Matriculation examinations achieving a 90,6 percent pass in 2022.<\/p>\n

Oakridge has been in existence for 23 years with a 98 percent pass rate from grade 8 to grade 12, and all learners who applied to university since 2011 have been successfully placed. Applications for grade 8 and grade 9 for 2024 are now open but space is limited.<\/p>\n

We are proving to be highly competitive on the sports field in all codes and our rugby players, in particular, have their tails up after triumphing in the Gelofte Night Series.
