Nestled in Assagay, The Mushroom Farm offers country style shopping and a lifestyle centre with a delightful array of unique shops, a farmyard and play area. Here you can enjoy a fun day out with the whole family!<\/p>\n

Family owned and run, this little oasis has literally mushroomed from a small wooden farm stall to the vibrant centre it is today and draws visitors from the greater Durban area. Located on the old working Chef Mushroom Farm, it caters to both residents of the surrounding areas and the weekend meanderers who enjoy shopping amongst the chickens and rabbits.<\/p>\n

What sets the MF apart from other shopping destinations?<\/p>\n

Their country feel and unique mix of shops. You can have a cup of coffee while a rooster pecks the croissant crumbs at your feet. You can do your veggie shopping and then share your carrots with a goat\/bunny on your way to your car. You can pop in for beautiful fresh flowers or bread, get something framed or even try on some hand-crafted leather shoes.<\/p>\n

There is a variety of shops selling outdoor products, furniture, antiques, fabric, clothing, garden pots, paving, fireplaces, leather shoes, health foods, flowers and gifting. There are also two restaurants, a play area onsite, a mushroom farmstall, a vegetable shop, a honey shop and a low carb deli to name a few.<\/p>\n

This quaint little mushroom farmstall has been at the heart of The Mushroom Farm for 30 years!
