For the fourth consecutive year, Best of Durban has once again captured the voice of the city and, after months of nominations and voting, we are proud to celebrate the businesses, brands and individuals recognised in the 2026 awards.<\/p>\n

What started as a celebration of local favourites has grown into one of Caxton Local Media Durban\u2019s most anticipated annual campaigns. Year after year, Durbanites turn out in their numbers to support the businesses, brands and individuals who consistently deliver excellence.<\/p>\n

This year, they did so in record-breaking fashion. Following a comprehensive verification process, more than one million valid votes were counted in Best of Durban 2026, making this our biggest readers\u2019 choice campaign yet.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a milestone that speaks volumes, not only about the scale of the campaign, but also about the pride Durbanites take in supporting the people and places that make this city exceptional.<\/p>\n

Best of Durban has become more than a competition. It is a trusted platform that reflects the heartbeat of the city, shining a spotlight on both well-loved institutions and rising stars, and recognising the dedication, resilience and exceptional service that have earned them their loyal customers.<\/p>\n
