Top the meat with equal portions of grated cheese.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Now beat the eggs well with the milk, chutney and parsley or herbs. Season to taste with the salt and pepper and pour over the meat and cheese in the muffin pan.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Bake in a preheated oven at 180\u00b0C for 15 &#8211; 20 minutes or until the eggs are set.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Remove from oven and allow to rest for a few minutes before lifting the baked eggs from the pan. You can bake them as\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/protect-za.mimecast.com\/s\/IRNxCVmZkGfl7XzRIzCP_q?domain=bullbrand.co.za\">individual servings<\/a>\u00a0or as one large hearty tart.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>INGREDIENTS (Servs 6-8)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 1 litre water<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 500 ml (2 C) maize meal<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 salt to taste<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 1 large onion, cut into thin wedges or slices<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 2 cloves garlic, crushed<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 sunflower or olive oil<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 1 x 300 g can Bull Brand Corned Meat, cut into small cubes<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 10 black olives, halved<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 salt and pepper to taste<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 3 large eggs<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 125 ml (\u00bd C) milk<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 10 ml (2 t) dried thyme or parsley<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 250 ml (1 C) grated cheddar cheese<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 5 ml (1 t) prepared mustard<\/p>\n<p><strong>METHOD<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mix the water and maize meal in a saucepan, season with salt to taste and bring to the boil while stirring. Reduce heat, cover and simmer on very low for about 45 minutes or until cooked, stirring occasionally.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Remove from heat and allow the mixture to cool.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Meanwhile, prepare the filling by frying the onion in oil until golden and soft. Add the garlic and can of Bull Brand Corned Meat and fry until the meat is lightly browned then stir in the olives, cover and set aside.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Once the maize pap has cooled, whisk in 1 egg and then press the mixture into the bottom and sides of 6 \u2013 8 small, loose-bottom tart pans or one large pie dish. Spoon the meat filling into the tart bases.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Whisk the 2 remaining eggs with the rest of the ingredients and pour into the tarts. Bake in a preheated oven at 180\u00b0C for 30 \u2013 40 minutes, or until the fillings are just set. Place the flour and \u2028smooth. Let the dough rest for 15 minutes then divide it in two and roll out each piece thinly. Place on greased baking sheets and brush with extra oil. Bake in a preheated oven at 230\u00b0C, for 5 \u2013 8 minutes or until cooked.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Spread the bases with sauce, cover with cheese and arrange the rest of the ingredients on top.
