Cape Town and Ibiza based team, Music People is thrilled to welcome highly acclaimed German artist Monolink to South African shores for a three city tour this Spring.
Monolink is a singer-songwriter and electronic music producer. To many that might sound like two very different aspects of modern sound culture – which in turn makes Monolink a fascinating character, because he’s both rolled into one. His style seamlessly connects the narrative structure of a song, with the compelling forward thrust of electronic rhythms. Guitar chords merge into synthetic pad sounds, hypnotic bass vibrations meet emotional vocal parts, passionate physicality meets sublime stimulation for the mind.
As followers and fans of his sound, the team is honoured to be able to introduce Monolink to the South African music landscape with world-class shows in Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban. The production behind each event has been designed to celebrate the artist’s performance; with beautiful venues, stellar supporting acts and international aerial performances and fire shows from Ibiza that are designed to transport you to a fantasy realm.
The highly anticipated Johannesburg show will take place at the picturesque Ground in Muldersdrift (Plot 19, Driefontein Road, Muldersdrift, Johannesburg), on September 21, 2019, from 2pm. With lush surrounds, sublime vistas, boho fashion and tasty food stalls this curated festival experience is not one to be missed!
