There was great excitement on Sunday, October 6, when women from all over Gauteng flocked together for the SPAR Women’s Challenge hosted at Marks Park Sports Club in Emmarentia.

Over 50 000 men, women, kids and even babies in prams, took part in the 5 or 10km SPAR Women’s Challenge. Staff from Caxton’s Joburg East branch enjoyed the race: Leandi du Toit, Melanie Engelbrecht, Claire O’Donaghue, Shavaun Cronje, Nicky van Wyk and Clyde Meela (front).
Children were entertained by Natalie Lambert and Suzette Philander from Boswell Willkie Circus.
