This year’s anticipated By Word of Mouth Festive Market will take place at The Polo Room, Inanda Club in Sandton on Saturday October 5 from 9am to 8pm and Sunday October 6 from 9am to 4pm – just before silly season hits. Go hungry and in the mood to shop, because you can tickle your taste buds with delicious foods, sip G&Ts and browse the 40 incredible stalls where you’re sure to find some gorgeous gifts from the carefully curated vendors … think lovely jewellery, fashionable clothes, pretty accessories and divine décor. Take your littlies along, they’ll have a ball in the kids’ area, which includes a jumping castle – such fun – while you shop up a storm.
The market’s sure to have the signature of excellence, experience and special touches of By Word of Mouth owner, Karen Short, who founded the company in 1993. By Word of Mouth offers everything from unique designer menus featuring exquisite food selections and tastes to complete event management. Unsurprisingly, it’s bagged some noteworthy awards over the years, like Best Caterer in the Best of Joburg Readers’ Choice Awards for a whopping 19 years in a row! This market has become Karen’s annual event and it’s fast gained in popularity!
