As always, home improvement was the name of the game at the Homemakers Expo, and this year’s InHabit theme aimed to enhance how we connect with everything around us. The Ticketpro Dome was packed with variety … from local designers creating spaces that showed off African designs to workshops and foodie delights at D’Vine Life. Our top hang-out spot was at The Garden Table, a brand new addition to the expo where we pulled up a seat and watched food and gardening demonstrations led by celebrity chefs, landscapers and gardening experts. We made sure we popped past when the DIY Garden Designer gave a live demo so we could gain some much-needed garden skills. Details: homemakersonline.co.za
