Leading an all-South African cast is singer-songwriter Jethro Tait playing as Buddy Holly in this tribute musical following the journey of him (with his band The Crickets) and his rise to the top of the record charts, only to die tragically in a plane crash aged just 22. Also killed on that fateful flight were Ritchie Valens (La Bamba) and JP Richardson (The BIG Bopper).
