Reshma Patel and Ian Jack make a welcome return in Three Bodies. This time, NR Brodie’s thriller is set in Gauteng, where the body of a woman is found in Hartbeespoort Dam. A grisly crime scene deep underground seems connected to a second woman found in the Jukskei River near Alexandra. When the body of a third woman is pulled out of the Vaal, Captain Reshma Patel starts wondering if a serial killer is at work, or if the murders are connected to a spate of cash-in-transit heists.
