Enjoy laugh-a-minute comedy and entertainment at Junction 21’s comedy evening on Thursday, April 29. The event, which will feature Virgil Prins, Angelo Vaaltyn, Kedibone Mulaudzi and Shanray van Wyk is sure to relieve the stress of the week and ease you into the weekend.

Prins, or the comedian formally (and informally) known as ‘Prins’, has won several comedy competitions, including the Jokenation International Comedy Competition, which led to performances at the Montreux International Comedy Festival in Switzerland and the Busan International Comedy Festival in South Korea. He has made multiple television appearances and was also head writer of the Savanna Comic’s Choice Awards in 2019.

Vaaltyn, ‘the comedic music sensation’, is a multi-talented worship singer, songwriter, programme director and comedian. He is one of South Africa’s only 100% clean stand-up comics with no swearing or vulgarity. This ‘triple threat’ package performs solo as a music entertainer/comedian and master of ceremonies. He regularly performs at comedy clubs and casinos, where he entertains crowds with his true-life funny stories, leaving his audience both entertained and educated.

Mulaudzi is in constant demand as both a headline act and MC across the national comedy circuit. He has performed for two Nobel prize winners and South African presidents, and in countries like South Korea, the USA, Tanzania, Zambia, the United Kingdom, Lesotho, Swaziland and Botswana.

Van Wyk started his comedy career in 2016, making his debut at the Savanna Newcomers Showcase. He runs a comedy room called Barber Blacksheep and also runs the Melville Comedy Club in association with Goliath and Goliath. He is also in production with his first film that he wrote. His unique style of telling stories is funny and witty and always leaves audiences in stitches. He has worked with the best comedians in the country and is always innovating. He caters for both Afrikaans and English audiences.

The comedy evening will take place on Thursday, April 29, from 6pm to 8pm, at Junction 21, Pepper Square Value Mall, Boksburg.

The cost per ticket is R250, which includes the show, as well as food and drink vouchers to the value of R150. Tickets can be booked on junction21.co.za.
