17 Due to the unprecedented and unexpected high levels of rain in Johannesburg since December, producer Colin Law needed to take the difficult decision to move the dates for Music of the Night. The new season will be staged at The Dome, situated on the grounds of the National School of Arts (NSA) from March 17 to 20 with Thursday to Saturday shows at 19:00 and the Sunday show at 16:00. Tickets are R250 per person. Book through Computicket. A ‘rain day’ will be scheduled for March 21 should inclement weather interrupt any of the Johannesburg dates. Patrons who already have tickets booked for the January/February dates for The Dome in Johannesburg will be contacted directly by Computicket for arrangements to be made to move their booking or attain a refund. The challenge includes a mountain bike race as well as a run or walk in aid of Dignity Dreams, Fountain of Inspiration, Cansa, Stepping Stone Hospice and Outreach Care. Cost is R300 per person to enter the 12km mountain bike route at Thaba Trails, R100 per adult and R50 for children u-12 to enter the 5km run/walk. Entry to the public is free.
