Cocktails just got fancy<\/strong><\/h4>\n

It\u2019s not new – it was created by brothers Paul and Raymond Lillet in the village of Pondesac, in the heart of France\u2019s famous wine-making Bordeaux region, in 1872.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s low in sugar and alcohol. And it\u2019ll make you go ooh la la! Launched in SA last month, this French wine-based aperitif is a brilliant rose colour and is all berries, orange blossom and grapefruit. You can drink it straight up on its own as a chilled aperitif \u2013 a drink to open the stomach before a meal \u2013 as the French prefer to do.<\/p>\n

Or try it in a signature Lillet<\/a> Ros\u00e9 Tonic cocktail … pour 50ml Lillet Ros\u00e9 and 100ml of tonic water over ice in a tall wine glass, garnish with a wedge of lime, or with a slice of grapefruit and a sprig of thyme. C\u2019est d\u00e9licieux! Book club just got fancy!<\/p>\n
