This unique collaboration will showcase some of the greatest Meat Loaf hits, including classics such as Bat Out of Hell, I\u2019d Do Anything for Love (But I Won\u2019t Do That), <\/em>and Paradise by the Dashboard Light<\/em>, in addition to featured moments of some of the biggest Jim Steinman songs like Total Eclipse of the Heart<\/em> and All Coming Back to Me Now<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Audiences can expect a truly unforgettable evening as Kraft\u2018s powerhouse vocals bring these iconic songs to life, supported by the incredible circus acts from The Cirk – Cheree Simpson, Kelsey Minne, Kiowa Howes, Mohammed Aqueel and Nakita Santos. From high-flying acrobatics to mesmerising fire performances, the show promises to be an explosion of energy in an immersive experience for all.<\/p>\n

Meat Loaf – The Rebel<\/em> Ride<\/em> featuring Yahto Kraft is a celebration of two titans of rock music, brought together in a groundbreaking collaboration that pushes the boundaries of traditional concert experiences. The evening will take the form of a musical quiz evening<\/strong>, where song lyrics will be played, and guests will have to guess which song it is.<\/p>\n

The evening promises to be loads of fun, with themed tables, and guests also requested to dress according to the theme of their table. Enter now for Neema Foundation for the Deaf\u2019s #SilentWalk&Run<\/strong> on September 14 at Marks Park Sports Club, Emmarentia. The event attracted more than 1 500 participants last year and is expected to continue to grow.<\/p>\n

Tickets to the event can be purchased here<\/a>. The goal is to promote an understanding of deafness and deaf culture to improve the communication gap between deaf and hearing communities.<\/p>\n

The #SilentWalk&Run starts at 8am, and fun activities include a fun walk\/run, with opportunities to learn sign language through activities along the route. On the day, there will also be activities such as silent aerobics and yoga, an information exhibition, an arts and crafts market by learners with special education needs, a children\u2019s play area and much more.<\/p>\n

Participants from the hearing community are encouraged to walk alongside their deaf peers to raise awareness and reduce the barriers and stereotypes within communities and organisations.<\/p>\n

The popular Boroughs Of Bedfordview<\/strong> 15km run and 5km fun run is taking place on September 22.<\/p>\n

Enjoy a great day at the races with your club, or enjoy a great day out with the family while keeping up your fitness and exploring the scenic streets of Bedfordview. The 15km run features prize money for first-, second- and third-placed men and women. The route will start and finish at the Virgin Active Bedfordview top field opposite the squash courts on 101 Van Buuren Avenue, Bedfordview.<\/p>\n

Both the 15km and 5km will be electronically timed, gun to mat. The 15km run will start at 6am and the 5km at 6.15am. The 5km is a fun community walk\/run in support of Better Bedfordview, a local community initiative involved in cleaning up, improving and uplifting the neighbourhood and building community unity and collaboration.<\/p>\n

The net proceeds from this event will be donated to Better Bedfordview. One lucky participant can win an exclusive entry to the traditionally sold-out BMW Berlin Marathon in 2025. Brackenhurst Primary School will host its fun-filled golf day<\/strong> to raise funds for the improvement and upgrading of its sports facilities on September 26 at Reading Country Club. Loads of prizes will be up for grabs, including ones for the longest drive and nearest to the pin.<\/p>\n

The competition format will be a better ball, and entries are R2 000 per four-ball, which includes a halfway house and a prize-giving dinner. You can also sponsor holes.<\/p>\n
