The streets of Jozi were awash with a sea of peach as women from all corners of the city and surrounding areas came together to celebrate their strength, resilience, and determination.<\/p>\n

SPAR Women\u2019s Challenge Jozi delivered a sold-out event with 12 000 runners. Glenrose Xaba took the top spot in the race, crossing the finish line in a time of 32:48.<\/p>\n

Xaba\u2019s victory also solidified her position as the winner of the Grand Prix Series, making her the first South African to claim this title since the inclusion of international athletes.<\/p>\n

Local charities Headstart Kids, Smile Foundation and Reach for Recovery each benefited from this event receiving a generous donation of R50 000.<\/p>\n
