Capsicum Culinary Studio has tasked its chef lecturers to come up with delicious dishes and baking treats for the whole family to enjoy, not only during the current lockdown, but also as we ease back into a more normal routine.<\/p>\n

Chef Lerato Panyane from the school\u2019s Boksburg campus shares her recipe for the easiest ever oatmeal cookies \u2013 perfect to snack on at home or pack in lunchboxes for those returning to school or the work place.<\/p>\n

Oatmeal Cookies<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 2 ripe bananas (mashed)
\n\u2022 1 cup quick cooking oats (uncooked)
\n\u2022 \u00bc cup raisins, coconut, chopped nuts or chocolate chips<\/p>\n

Method<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Heat oven to 1800 C
\n\u2022 In a bowl combine mashed bananas, oats and your add-in ingredient.
\n\u2022 Spoon tablespoons of mixture onto a lightly greased baking sheet.
\n\u2022 Bake for 15 minutes or until edges are brown.<\/p>\n
