5 Workout hacks for lazy people

We all dream about flaunting the perfect beach body throughout summer but for most of us, that will never be a reality because we love eating and hate exercising.

Here are five workout hacks for lazy people who want to get fit:

1. Choose the right time of day to exercise
You might think it’s a brilliant idea to exercise first thing in the morning but it can lead to injuries. Take your time catching up on social media and enjoying your morning coffee while your body wakes up before exercising.

2. Do it at your desk
You don’t have to go to the gym to exercise — you can do it at your desk. Leg raises, chair dips, swiveling abs and leaning plank are all exercises you can do at your desk.

3. Exercise in your bed
What’s even better than not leaving your desk? Not leaving your bed! You read that correct — you can do your daily exercises in your bed. You can do marching hip raises, side planks, leg lifts and dolphin planks in the comfort of your bed.

4. Keep it short and sweet
You don’t have to exert yourself every time you exercise. Stick to the 10-rule by only doing 10 of each exercise. Going for a run? Run for the length of one song. Try to exercise daily, even if it’s just for 15 minutes.

5. The buddy-system
Dragging a friend along when exercising can help keep your mind off the actual exercise.
